Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Utilioo (“Utilioo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and the website and services we provide (the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
The Service
Utilioo helps tradespeople generate invoices quickly using voice or typed descriptions. The Service may include:
- Voice or text input to describe a job
- AI-assisted parsing into structured invoice fields
- Invoice preview and editing
- Export (e.g., PDF), printing, and sharing options
- Optional local saving of customers/preferences on your device
Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you’re using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
Your Responsibilities
- Review before sending: You are responsible for reviewing and confirming invoice accuracy (names, amounts, taxes, line items) before sending or printing.
- Compliance: You are responsible for complying with any local tax, invoicing, and record-keeping rules that apply to your business.
- Your equipment: You are responsible for the device, browser, and connectivity used to access the Service.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. Common acceptable uses include:
- Creating invoices for services you provide
- Creating invoices for your own business administration
- Generating drafts and editing them before sending to clients
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive invoices
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
- Use automated scripts/bots to abuse rate limits or overload the Service
- Introduce malware, exploits, or malicious code
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without permission
If you violate these rules, we may suspend or restrict access to protect the Service and other users.
Plans & Payments
Utilioo may offer free usage limits and paid plans (subscription or pay-per-use). If a paid plan is offered and you choose to purchase it:
- Prices, limits, and plan features will be shown at checkout or on the pricing page
- Taxes may apply depending on your region and payment provider requirements
- Refunds (if any) are handled according to the payment provider’s rules and our policy
If paid plans are not currently enabled, any “Coming soon” features are not yet available.
Ownership
Your Content
You own the invoices and business data you create. Utilioo does not claim ownership over your invoices.
Our Service
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Utilioo (or its licensors) and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Service except as permitted by law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”.
We make no warranties (express or implied) regarding the Service, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- AI output may be incorrect or incomplete
- Invoicing rules vary by region and business type
- The Service may be interrupted or updated over time
You must verify invoice details before sending to clients.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UTILIOO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes (without limitation) loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated invoice details.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or $10 USD if you paid nothing), unless a different limit is required by law.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms
- We need to protect the Service, users, or our systems
- We are required to do so by law
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
